Currently, we are seeking qualified providers to join us as contracted (independent*) service providers. We invite licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers, counselor supervisors, and residents in counseling who would like to add their expertise to our client service offerings. We offer a competitive fee sharing percentage, support, and office space. Qualified candidates should submit their resume/vitae, along with a cover letter outlining your theory, specialties, and work experience to Chuck Carrington, Director of Training, at Support@VBCC.email. All our providers are independent contractors, and as such are responsible for their own professional and tax liabilities.
Currently seeking, but not limited too…
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with established professional identity in the Hampton Roads community. Preferred qualifications include an established clientele with at least one established insurance panel other than Medicaid. Special consideration will be given to candidates who are qualified supervisors.
Resident in Counseling. Residents are needed who are prepared to see clients and who are either under contracted supervision now, or who have established a supervisor who would be willing to provide supervision at our site. Residents are expected to have some clients, or the ability to recruit clients to help fill their book. You will be allotted office space based on your client load, so the more, the better. Fee split is competitive with the other major local agencies.
Christian Counselors are needed who wish to work as unlicensed, but otherwise highly qualified faith-based counselors and coaches. Christian Counselors, if unlicensed, must be affiliated with a religious organization which recognizes and ordains ministers of the Gospel. Those who lack this credential may train with us and become recognized and ordained through our affiliates. Christian Counselors must have an accredited degree in ministry, with counselor training that meets our standard, or a degree in Human Services Counseling, or a Degree in Mental Health Counseling. If you have a ministry degree, and do not have the counselor training completed, you can apply as an intern and we will train you in counseling skills.
Certified Life Coach/Christian Life Coach. Coaches who are experienced and skilled in marriage & relationships, communication skills training, career coaching, and parenting are needed. Qualification for coaching varies, so inquiries are welcome.
